What this does not promise
- Teaching, not done-for-you development. I will not complete assessed work or finish an application for you.
- No promise of a particular pace, a finished app or a job outcome. Understanding is checked with a small variation you explain yourself.
- If installation or account access prevents practice, we explain the problem and agree the next step instead of pushing on.

The same rules on every job
How I work.
- One agreed scope, in writing, before work starts.
- Reproduce first. A finding I cannot reproduce is an opinion, and I label it as one.
- I say what I did not check. A passing screen does not prove the data was saved.
- No credentials in messages. We agree the minimum access needed.
- I use AI tools in my own work where they help, and I check their output the same way I check anything else.

Make a button you can explain.
For a first lesson, a small button can be enough to connect code with something you can see.
- Try
Make a button show a short message. Notice what happens when you click it.
- Explain
Point to the code that handles the click and the part that changes what appears.
- Try again
Change it to hide the message on the next click. Predict the result, then test your prediction.
Illustrative learning goal, not a claim that a student completed it. We adapt the lesson to your starting point.
How we would check understanding
You try a small variation and explain it in your own words. If it does not make sense yet, we work through the missing step. The next exercise gives you a way to practise after the call.

Can I start from zero?
Yes. Tell me what you have tried, if anything, and the computer or tools you use. We’ll agree a small starting goal before arranging a lesson.
Will you teach me or write the code for me?
The lesson is for you to learn. We’ll work through examples, but you will try things and explain them. It is not a done-for-you development service.
Will using AI stop me learning the basics?
It can be easy to accept code you do not understand. We’ll use explanations, small changes and checks so you practise the reasoning rather than just copy the answer.
Why pay when there are free courses?
A free course may be enough. A lesson offers individual help with your questions and feedback on your attempts. It does not guarantee a job, a finished app or a particular rate of progress.
How long is a lesson, and what does it cost?
The price is fixed per lesson and confirmed before booking. We agree the session length, learning goal and starting point after I read your enquiry, and check your tool and device before booking. No lesson or payment is booked by sending the form.
Can you help with an assignment?
I can explain concepts and help you practise within your course rules. I will not complete assessed work for you. Mention any relevant restrictions before we arrange a lesson.
